  • How can I submit a cancellation request?
    All refunds are subject to Airline terms and conditions. In most cases, tickets are full non-refundable.
    NOTE - If tickets are NO-SHOW, then it becomes 100% non-refundable.
    Hence cancellation request has to be made 24 hrs before departure, and if the airline permits cancellation of a ticket subject to penalties, then submit a refund request through our online chat portal (24/7). AirfareExperts may take up to 7-14 business days to process your refund depending upon airline terms and conditions for refunds.
    Once your refund is processed, your financial institution may take up to 07 business days to post the credit to your credit card, and in some cases upto 2 billing cycles to show the credit on your statement. Please check with your bank for the actual duration for credits from refunds.

    Your refund will be processed to your original credit card only. It cannot be processed to a different credit card.
  • Can I cancel now and use for Future Credit?
    Only during Covid-19 days, most airlines are waiving their penalty fees to cancel your flight and receive travel credits. This allows you to cancel now and book new flights at a later date once you are ready to travel again.
    New flights must be within the airline's requirements, which usually consist of a rebooking deadline or travel-must-commence-by date. These are typically 1 year after date of purchase, but could be extended due to COVID-19.
  • difference between cancellation and refunds?
    The reservation/booking needs to be canceled atleast 12 hours before departure and then we will process refund of your funds.
    Based on Airline cancellation policies that is subject to penalties - AirfareExperts will process refund.
    In-case of no-shows, the tickets are 100% non-refundable.

  • Why my Refund request is rejected?
    As a travel agency, our ability to provide travel credits or refunds to passengers is dependent on airline policies and restrictions. Unfortunately, due to the current policy effected by the airline you were flying with, and the absence of a travel advisory for your destination, you are not currently eligible for a refund or future travel credit.
